Small Space, Big Flavor: Transforming Your Brinkley RV Spice Rack

We were not fond of the giant spice rack drawer that came with our Z2900.  So we took it out to use it for other things.  Instead, we decided to place our spices in the small space beneath the sink.  However, on our first short trip, several of the spices fell out.  Here is how I fixed it:

  • Bought a ½ inch oak dowl at Home Depot.
  • Cut it to a wedge fit.
  • Painted it with Mindful Gray paint from Sherwin Williams
  • Glued it into place

What about larger spices?

We chose to keep our larger spices in some smaller bins in one of the drawers.  They inevitably spill a little in travel, so it is super easy to just take the small bin out to empty and clean rather than the whole drawer.

Hope you enjoy this easy fix.
