Prides Creek Park Review

We stumbled upon a wonderful park just as we needed somewhere to stop for lunch on our way to take our daughter to Anderson University in Indiana. They charge 4 dollars per vehicle to enter, but it is well worth it, especially if you have any children with you. We had trouble finding RV friendly rest areas in this section of the country. This park has a beautiful lake, a beach area. You can launch your boat or kayak here or swim for a small fee.

If you play frisbee golf, they have a course here. Warning, water is in play at 12 of the holes, so keep that in mind if you decide to play with the kids.

They have lots of open spaces for pets or people to run. They have a fun playground as well.

There are 145 nicely maintained permanent sites. They also have 60 full hook-up sites that are first come first served.

This park only accepts cash for payment. Also, I believe the park is somewhat seasonal. We stopped here again in early March, and the restrooms were closed, part of the picnic area was closed as well. However, they didn’t charge an entry fee. This was still a nice place to stop for lunch since it had plenty of parking for our RV as well as room to stretch our legs. We could eat and use the restroom in the RV.
